We would be keen, as a group, about 3-4 vehicles, to do an overnight Desert Trip, we are fairly new to this having only been out in the Desert once before so would be interested in hearing about companies/tour operators who could organise this for us.  If anyone knows who I can contact, in Riyadh that is,  in this regard, please let me know....Many Thanks. Liesa,

A good trip from Riyadh is Wabah crater - brillant camping and hiking trails.
Another bet is buy a Riyadh today and see if they list drives and camping areas in and around the area.
Last option link up with the local Hash Harriers - there must be one in Riyadh ask around and I am sure this will be a start.

Other wise wait until I get there as my family love camping and the desert..(November)

Why dont we organise a trip to Wabha crater for those from Jeddah and those from Riyadh who want to do the trip. This would be a greta way to meet the Jeddah and Riyadh crowds. Wabha crater is about halfway for both cities.

What a great idea! Fred - you are not just a pretty face!!!

I have a couple of friends in Jeddah who did the trip - it would be a great place for everyone to meet up.

Unfortunately some Bahrain residents (me!!!) won't be able to be there - but for those who can, don't hesitate - it's reputed to be a nice trip
