Hello

I wonder if you guys can help me in sending me the websites of jobs in Saudi. Me and my hubby would like to relocate that side from South Africa but we need to get work first. Is it a struggle to get a job that side or what? Please assist!!

Hi There,

Check out web sites like Monster.com or Seek.com or Byat.com for jobs in the Gulf - depending on your skills there are other ways - for example Teachers Nurses and medical personnel can contact direct hospitals and schools directly - I suggest post your needs what profession you have - EG Engineer and Nurse - we can assist you in getting contacts....

Thanks for your response guys, I'll check the websites given. I've been browsing bayt.com and I came across a lot of good positions there. My husband works for Avis Rent-a-Car at the moment and I've seen a lot of Hertz jobs for him. He's also worked for SABC TV Stations as a Transmission Controller as well as a Production Asiistant.

As for myself I'm looking for something concerning Libraries or Information Resources. I also need soething around Communications/Events Management.

Will let you know what I managed to get.

Hmmmmm maybe an issue here in the Gulf - In Saudi you need a degree to enter most jobs - working in car rental is very low paying - around R 5000 a month with out housing and other benefits...plus will be a singles job not for married!
I feel difficult to get in here unless a Manager or GM of a company.

Remember to work in Saudi you need a sponsor who is willing to issue a visa, then they apply for your paperwork etc....Housing is very expensive, so is schooling and medical care - food is still OK but is an expense to carry.

My strong advice is to do your home work first  and ask questions that you will get honest answers!!!
